Ljubljana Airport will see the addition of a new direct flight route this winter season, as Spanish low-cost airline Vueling announces a direct service to Barcelona El Prat Airport. The new flights will enhance connectivity between Slovenia and Spain, further expanding the range of low-cost options from Ljubljana.

The new route will be established on November 16, 2025 and will operate twice weekly, on Thursdays and Sundays. During the busy holiday season, between December 9 and January 6, an additional weekly frequency will be added on Tuesdays.

The service will be operated using an Airbus A320 aircraft. Tickets are already available for purchase via airline website www.vueling.com and mobile app.
